Cafés and shops and one well-stocked supermarket beside Albergue Hogar del Peregrino. During August Itero is the unlikely location of a music festival called IteroRock or Tachurock which brings together long-haired, motorcycle-riding, guitar-smashing degenerates from all over Spain for a day or two of drug-fuelled chaos. The free guide is, as its name suggests, free! It contains the same information about pilgrim hostels and pilgrim facilities as the full guide but it doesn't contain the maps, historical information, sights, etc. You can get a copy of the free guide to download in PDF format from our download page.
