Latest news and updates.

September 2010

Thanks to everybody who's bought the new full guide. Exciting new developments are in the pipe-line this month. I'm planning a (long-overdue) update of the mobile site (m.caminoguide.net) and a brand new section with a selection of news items relating to the Camino drawn from various media. Check back here for updates. :)

August 2010

The new full version of the Camino Guide is now available to buy from this site. As well as the printed booklet version you now have the option to buy a downloadable version for 4€. It's in .pdf format, same as the free guide, so you can read it on your computer or mobile device or print out the bits you need.

For more information see here.

All versions now contain a tonne of updates on the Finisterre route including new hostels in Negreira, Vilaserío, Cee and Finisterre.

July 2010

I returned from walking the Camino Francés a couple of weeks ago and I've been busy making multiple update to the guide since then. The up-dated version is now online. There are a lot of new hostels opening for Holy Year and I think I've identified most of them (as well as a few that got missed last time around). There are also loads of new new cafés and shops, especially in Galicia, and I've mentioned these where appropriate (however, on the last 100km there are too many to mention).

I'm still working on a new version of the printed guide with all the updates and more information about the history of the different places along the Camino. It should have it ready in a few weeks. The price of the printed guide will increase simply because I haven't been able to get my printing costs down, but the good news is that there'll be a new cheaper version to download in PDF format to read on your computer or hand-held device or to print out. Watch this space for updates or if you'd like to be informed when it's available drop me an email at info@caminoguide.net.

Buen Camino and thanks to everybody who's sent me updates and corrections!
